Environmental Artist
Project: Vangaurd: Saga of Heroes
Worked as an artist to create structures or environments to be used as “Points of Interest” within the environment.
Tasks involved use of a 3rd party game development tool alongside normal 3D and 2D tools.
Responsibilites included modeling, shader usage and manual setup into the game engine.
Other tasks included workflow optimizations, bugfixes, collision creation, LOD implementation
Sony Online Entertainment San Diego, CA 8/2002-9/2004
Associate Artist
Project: Star Wars: Galaxies (PC) and Star Wars: Galaxies - Jump to Lightspeed
Worked as a junior artist for the character and creature team as well as the environment team.
Responsibilities included: Modeling, texturing, binding and weighting creatures, creating static environment assets,
LOD creation, and setups for mesh collisions.
Other 3D responsibilities included lighting and rendering for work to be used in the game's "Launchpad."
Worked closely with the SOE's platform team (web design) to design many assets for use on the live site as well as
promotional pieces. These included wallpaper designs and creation, icons for player base avatars, promotional banners
for LucasArts and rendered images for all available community forum skins
Created artwork for use in the Star Wars Galaxies Strategy Guide published by Prima.
